Terms & Conditions of Booking

A legal disclaimer

Thank you for choosing Unbound Scotland.

We're an independent Highland tour company offering private journeys through Scotland's remarkable landscapes, historic places and natural environment.

Our aim is to provide a personal, enjoyable and memorable experience, with the freedom to explore at your own pace.

These Terms & Conditions explain the arrangements for booking and travelling with us, including payment, cancellations, itinerary changes, passenger responsibilities and circumstances that may affect your journey.

Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

1. About Us & Your Booking Contract

1.1. Unbound Scotland is operated by Unbound Scotland Ltd, a private limited company registered in Scotland.

1.2. We provide private guided day tours, bespoke Highland experiences and shore excursions, primarily departing from Inverness and Invergordon Cruise Port.

1.3. These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made directly through our website, our authorised online booking system or by contacting us.

1.4. A booking becomes a contract between you and Unbound Scotland Ltd when we accept your reservation, receive the required payment and issue written booking confirmation.

1.5. The person making the booking is considered the lead guest and is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking information.

  • Checking the details of the booking confirmation.

  • Informing us of any relevant requirements or time-sensitive travel arrangements.

  • Communicating the itinerary, collection arrangements and these Terms & Conditions to other members of their group.

  • Ensuring they have the authority to make the reservation on behalf of the group.

1.6. These terms apply to the booked services and everyone participating in the experience, subject to their individual statutory rights.

1.7. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer legislation.

2. Private Tours & Passenger Numbers

2.1. All Unbound Scotland tours are exclusively private. Your vehicle and driver-guide are reserved for your group alone.

2.2. Our standard touring vehicle accommodates a maximum of seven guests plus the driver-guide.

2.3. Children and infants count towards the maximum passenger capacity, regardless of age.

2.4. Guest numbers must be accurately declared when booking. Additional passengers cannot be accommodated beyond the legal seating capacity.

2.5. If your group size changes after confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible. Any applicable change to the booking price will be explained before it is agreed.

2.6. We reserve the right to refuse passenger numbers exceeding the vehicle's permitted capacity or where safe and lawful seating arrangements cannot be provided.

3. Tour Pricing & What's Included

3.1. Unbound Scotland operates a tiered pricing system, based on the number of guests travelling together.

3.2. Larger groups generally benefit from a lower cost per person, allowing families and friends to enjoy private touring at better value.

3.3. The total price for your selected group size will be displayed or confirmed before payment.

3.4. Unless specifically stated otherwise, your tour price includes:

  • Exclusive use of a private touring vehicle.

  • A dedicated driver-guide.

  • Transport along the agreed itinerary.

  • Collection and drop-off at agreed locations.

  • Guided commentary and local knowledge throughout the experience.

3.5. The following are not included unless expressly stated in your tour description:

  • Meals and refreshments.

  • Castle, museum or attraction admission.

  • Distillery tours and whisky tastings.

  • Additional activities and experiences.

  • Personal purchases and gratuities.

3.6. Any compulsory charges relating to the booked tour will be included in the total price shown before payment. Optional extras will be identified separately.

3.7. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP).

Changes to guest numbers

3.8. If you wish to add guests after booking, the revised price will be calculated using the applicable pricing tier, subject to the vehicle's capacity.

3.9. Where guest numbers decrease, the cost of the remaining group's booking may change to reflect the revised pricing tier.

3.10. Any applicable cancellation charge will be assessed fairly and will not duplicate other amounts charged for the same loss.

3.11. We will explain any revised total and refund entitlement before confirming the amendment.

4. Booking Confirmation & Payments

4.1. Bookings are subject to availability.

4.2. Your reservation is confirmed only once the required payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued.

4.3. Submitting an enquiry, requesting a quote or discussing a proposed itinerary does not reserve a date.

4.4. Payment is normally made through our authorised online booking and payment providers or another method agreed with us.

4.5. The amount due at booking will be clearly displayed or confirmed before payment.

4.6. Where deposits or balance payments are offered, the amounts and payment deadlines will be confirmed in writing.

4.7. If an agreed balance remains unpaid after its due date, we will contact you and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter before taking further action.

4.8. Please check your booking confirmation carefully, particularly the tour date, number of guests, collection location and any special arrangements.

4.9. Any inaccuracies should be reported as soon as possible.

5. Guest Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans sometimes change, particularly when travelling.

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.

Cancellation notice is calculated against the confirmed departure time, using UK local time.

Standard cancellation policy

The following is the proposed standard cancellation schedule, subject to final confirmation before publication.

Seven days or more before departure

A full refund of the tour price will be provided.

Less than seven days but more than 72 hours before departure

A standard cancellation charge of up to 50% of the tour price may apply.

72 hours or less before departure

A cancellation charge of up to 100% of the tour price may apply.

Fair cancellation charges

5.1. These charges represent maximum standard amounts rather than automatic penalties.

5.2. Any cancellation charge will be fair and proportionate, taking account of losses directly resulting from the cancellation, costs saved and reasonable opportunities to obtain a replacement booking.

5.3. We will not retain more than we are legally entitled to recover.

5.4. Where our recoverable losses are lower than the standard cancellation amount, an appropriate additional refund will be provided.

5.5. Any additional non-recoverable third-party booking costs must have been clearly explained and agreed beforehand. Such costs will be assessed fairly, and no loss will be charged twice.

Failure to attend

5.6. If guests fail to attend a confirmed tour without notifying us, the booking will normally be treated as a late cancellation.

5.7. Guests who voluntarily leave a tour early are not automatically entitled to a refund for unused time or services.

5.8. Any refund entitlement will depend on the circumstances, services provided and applicable consumer law.

Online booking cancellation rights

5.9. Date-specific leisure activities and passenger transport bookings do not generally benefit from the standard 14-day online cooling-off right.

5.10. Your rights to cancel will depend on the applicable booking terms and any mandatory consumer protections.

6. Changing or Rescheduling a Booking

6.1. If you wish to change your date, group size, collection point or itinerary, please contact us as early as possible.

6.2. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, subject to availability and operational requirements.

6.3. Amendments may result in additional costs or a revised booking price.

6.4. Any price adjustment will be explained before the change is agreed.

6.5. A requested change is not confirmed until acknowledged by Unbound Scotland in writing.

6.6. Where a change cannot be accommodated and you decide to cancel, the applicable cancellation arrangements will apply, subject to your statutory rights.

7. Cancellations or Changes by Unbound Scotland

7.1. We make every reasonable effort to operate tours as planned.

7.2. Occasionally, circumstances may arise that prevent a tour from proceeding safely or as agreed.

These may include:

  • Severe weather or dangerous road conditions.

  • Unexpected vehicle failure.

  • Serious illness or unavoidable guide unavailability where a suitable replacement cannot be arranged.

  • Emergency road closures.

  • Major incidents or events beyond our reasonable control.

7.3. If we cancel your entire tour before departure, we will offer either:

  • An alternative available date, where suitable; or

  • A full refund of the tour payment.

7.4. You are not obliged to accept an alternative date.

7.5. Refunds will be arranged as soon as reasonably practicable, normally within 14 days.

7.6. Where only part of a tour is affected, we will discuss appropriate alternatives, price adjustments or refunds, taking account of the circumstances and applicable law.

7.7. We are not automatically responsible for separately booked travel, accommodation or other arrangements affected by a cancellation. Any legal responsibility for associated losses will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

8. Collection, Departure Times & Late Arrivals

8.1. Complimentary collection and drop-off are available from suitable locations within:

  • The Inverness area.

  • Invergordon Cruise Port.

  • Locations falling naturally along your agreed tour route.

8.2. Collection from further afield may be available by arrangement.

8.3. Additional charges or itinerary adjustments may apply to collection locations substantially outside our normal operating area. These will be agreed before booking.

8.4. Guests should be ready at their confirmed collection point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

8.5. If you are delayed, please contact us as soon as possible.

8.6. As our tours are private, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate late arrivals.

8.7. However, a late start may require us to shorten the itinerary, remove stops or alter the route.

8.8. Where guests fail to attend or are significantly delayed, any cancellation charge will be determined fairly under the applicable booking policy.

8.9. The lead guest is responsible for ensuring their group is present and ready at the agreed time.

9. Tour Durations & Itinerary Flexibility

9.1. Published tour durations are estimates based on reasonable planning and typical travelling conditions.

9.2. Your booking confirmation will identify the expected departure time, approximate duration and any agreed return arrangements.

9.3. Our suggested itineraries are designed to provide an enjoyable and realistic day, with flexibility for sightseeing, photography and individual interests.

9.4. Guests are welcome to request additional stops or adjustments, provided these can be accommodated safely and reasonably.

9.5. The driver-guide may recommend changes where necessary because of road conditions, weather, traffic, attraction availability or available time.

9.6. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver the principal features of your confirmed tour.

9.7. Where a significant part of the contracted experience cannot be provided, we will discuss suitable alternatives and any appropriate refund or remedy.

9.8. We cannot guarantee admission to attractions not expressly included in your confirmed booking.

9.9. We will not exceed legal driving limits, disregard safety requirements or undertake unsafe manoeuvres to complete an itinerary.

10. Onward Travel, Connections & Missed Departures

This section is particularly important for guests with flights, cruise departures, trains, ferries or other time-sensitive arrangements following their tour.

Declaring onward travel arrangements

10.1. Guests must inform Unbound Scotland before their booking is confirmed of any time-sensitive onward travel arrangements scheduled for the same day as their tour.

This includes:

  • Flights and airport check-in deadlines.

  • Cruise ship departures and boarding times.

  • Train, ferry and coach connections.

  • Pre-booked events or attractions with fixed entry times.

  • Other arrangements where a delay could result in missed departures or additional expenses.

10.2. Guests must provide accurate details of their required arrival time and relevant departure location.

10.3. Where notified, we will consider these requirements when planning the itinerary and advise whether the proposed arrangements appear reasonably achievable.

10.4. Guests must notify us promptly if their onward travel plans change.

Allowing sufficient time

10.5. We strongly recommend allowing a substantial time allowance between the scheduled completion of your tour and any onward travel commitments.

10.6. As a general precaution, guests should consider allowing at least three hours between their tour's scheduled return and a subsequent travel commitment, with considerably more time where appropriate for flights, international travel, remote routes or journeys with limited alternatives.

10.7. This is guidance only. Three hours will not necessarily be sufficient for every connection, and guests must also allow for airport check-in, security, boarding deadlines and individual travel requirements.

10.8. Where practical, we recommend avoiding important international departures immediately after longer Highland excursions.

10.9. We may advise against or decline a proposed itinerary where the available time is insufficient for a safe and reasonably achievable journey.

Unexpected delays

10.10. Journey times and return estimates are based on reasonable planning and available information.

10.11. Travel through the Highlands can be disrupted by unexpected circumstances, including:

  • Serious road traffic collisions.

  • Emergency road closures.

  • Severe weather, flooding, snow or ice.

  • Landslides or fallen trees.

  • Police incidents or emergency service operations.

  • Significant congestion or other unavoidable disruptions.

10.12. Highland roads can be remote, with limited or no practical alternative routes. A single major incident can cause substantial delays.

10.13. While we will exercise reasonable care and skill when planning and operating your tour, we cannot guarantee arrival times against every unforeseen event.

Responsibility for missed connections

10.14. Unbound Scotland is not responsible for the cost of missed flights, cruise departures, trains, ferries, accommodation, prepaid tickets or other associated expenses where the loss arises solely from circumstances genuinely beyond our reasonable control and is not attributable to a breach of our contractual or legal obligations.

10.15. This may include reasonable and unavoidable delays caused by an unrelated third-party road accident or unexpected emergency closure, despite appropriate journey planning.

10.16. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts our liability for losses legally recoverable because of negligence, breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

10.17. A guest's failure to disclose a known time-sensitive connection may be relevant to whether a resulting loss was foreseeable or could reasonably have been avoided.

10.18. We recommend that guests maintain suitable travel insurance covering travel disruption, missed connections and additional expenses.

Our response to delays

10.19. If an unexpected delay occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its impact.

These may include:

  • Adjusting or shortening the itinerary.

  • Prioritising the return journey.

  • Using a safe and practical alternative route.

  • Informing guests of material delays.

  • Assisting with communication to onward travel providers where reasonably possible.

10.20. The driver-guide retains responsibility for operating the vehicle safely and legally at all times.

11. Invergordon Cruise Port Excursions

11.1. We offer private shore excursions for guests arriving at Invergordon Cruise Port.

11.2. Cruise itineraries are planned around the ship's published arrival and departure schedule.

11.3. Guests must provide their cruise ship's name, expected arrival time and required boarding time before booking.

Returning to the ship

11.4. We will plan the excursion with a reasonable allowance for returning to port before the required boarding time.

11.5. We will make reasonable efforts to complete the agreed itinerary while prioritising a safe and timely return.

11.6. However, unexpected road incidents, emergency closures and severe weather can occasionally cause delays beyond our reasonable control.

11.7. No absolute guarantee can be given against every possible disruption.

11.8. Where a significant delay occurs, the driver-guide may shorten or adjust the itinerary to prioritise the return journey.

11.9. Responsibility for missed sailings or additional expenses will be determined in accordance with Section 10 and applicable law.

Delayed ship arrivals

11.10. If your ship arrives later than scheduled, please contact us as soon as possible.

11.11. We will attempt to adapt the tour to the remaining available time.

11.12. This may involve reducing the number of stops or choosing a shorter route.

11.13. Where the vehicle and driver-guide remain available for the agreed booking period, a delay caused by the ship does not automatically create an entitlement to a partial refund. Any applicable remedy will depend on the circumstances and your legal rights.

If your ship cannot dock

11.14. If your cruise ship is officially unable to dock at Invergordon, please notify us promptly and provide confirmation from the cruise operator.

11.15. Where the ship's failure to dock prevents your tour from taking place, we will refund the Unbound Scotland tour price rather than apply our standard cancellation charges.

11.16. Any separately agreed and genuinely non-recoverable third-party reservation costs will be considered fairly, provided these were disclosed before booking and may lawfully be retained.

Cruise schedule changes

11.17. If your ship's schedule changes, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the revised arrangements.

11.18. However, changes cannot always be guaranteed, particularly where they conflict with existing bookings or safe operational requirements.

11.19. Cruise passengers are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance appropriate for shore excursions and missed departures.

12. Bespoke Tours & Special Requests

12.1. Bespoke tours are designed around the interests, preferred destinations and available time of your group.

12.2. We will work with you to develop an itinerary that is realistic and enjoyable, taking account of:

  • Travelling distances.

  • Attraction opening times.

  • Seasonal accessibility.

  • Weather and road conditions.

  • Collection and return arrangements.

  • Any declared time-sensitive onward travel.

12.3. A bespoke itinerary is not confirmed until the route, price and arrangements have been agreed and the required payment received.

12.4. Significant changes requested after confirmation may affect the price or availability.

12.5. Optional activities requiring third-party reservations may have additional conditions, which will be explained before booking.

12.6. We cannot guarantee access to attractions, routes or activities outside our control.

13. Attractions & Third-Party Providers

13.1. Some attractions and activities visited during our tours are operated by independent third parties.

13.2. These may include castles, museums, distilleries, historic sites, visitor attractions and specialist experience providers.

13.3. Unless expressly included in your booking, admission fees and optional activities are normally payable separately.

13.4. Where we assist with a third-party reservation, we will explain who provides the service, any additional cost and the applicable conditions.

13.5. Opening hours, admission arrangements and availability may change without notice.

13.6. We will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative where a planned attraction becomes unavailable.

13.7. Where an attraction forms a significant part of your contracted experience, any inability to provide that service will be handled in accordance with your statutory rights.

13.8. We remain responsible for obligations that the law places on us in relation to services sold or arranged as part of our contract.

14. Children, Families & Passenger Safety

14.1. Children are welcome on our private tours when suitable arrangements can be made.

14.2. All children must travel with a responsible adult.

14.3. Children and infants count towards the vehicle's maximum passenger capacity.

14.4. Child seats or appropriate restraints must be used where legally required.

14.5. Guests must advise us of children's ages and any relevant restraint requirements before booking.

14.6. Suitable arrangements must be confirmed in advance. Please do not assume that a child seat or booster will be available unless we have confirmed it.

14.7. We cannot transport a child where appropriate and legally compliant seating arrangements cannot be provided.

14.8. Accompanying adults are responsible for supervising children during stops and visits.

14.9. All guests must wear seat belts where required by law.

14.10. Passengers must not interfere with the vehicle's safe operation or distract the driver.

15. Accessibility & Mobility Requirements

15.1. We aim to make our experiences welcoming and accessible wherever reasonably possible.

15.2. Some Highland attractions and natural locations involve steps, steep slopes, rough paths or uneven terrain.

15.3. Our standard touring vehicle may not be suitable for every mobility requirement.

15.4. Please contact us before booking if you require assistance, mobility equipment storage or particular accessibility arrangements.

15.5. We will discuss your requirements, provide relevant information and make reasonable adjustments where required and practicable.

15.6. We will not impose additional charges for assistance or adjustments where prohibited by law.

15.7. Assistance dogs will be accommodated in accordance with applicable legal requirements, without unlawful additional charges.

15.8. Where a particular vehicle or location cannot safely meet your requirements, we will explain the limitations and discuss reasonable alternatives.

15.9. We will not discriminate unlawfully on the grounds of disability or any other protected characteristic.

16. Weather, Road Conditions & Unexpected Events

16.1. Highland weather can be unpredictable and may change quickly.

16.2. Tours normally operate in typical Scottish weather, including rain, wind and colder temperatures.

16.3. We recommend suitable clothing and footwear throughout the year.

16.4. Severe conditions may occasionally make particular roads, attractions or outdoor activities unsafe.

16.5. Other significant disruptions may include natural disasters, emergency incidents, major infrastructure failures or restrictions imposed by public authorities.

16.6. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact of circumstances beyond our control.

16.7. This may include altering the itinerary, substituting a suitable destination or cancelling a tour where it cannot be operated safely.

16.8. Where we cancel an entire tour, the refund arrangements in Section 7 will apply.

16.9. Where a significant part of the agreed service cannot be delivered, appropriate remedies will be considered in accordance with applicable law.

16.10. We are not responsible for additional losses resulting solely from events genuinely beyond our reasonable control where we have fulfilled our contractual and legal responsibilities.

16.11. Nothing in this section removes any statutory right or remedy.

17. Vehicle Arrangements, Baggage & Personal Belongings

Vehicle arrangements

17.1. We aim to provide the private touring vehicle described in your booking.

17.2. If an unexpected operational problem occurs, we may arrange a suitable replacement vehicle.

17.3. Any replacement must meet applicable legal, licensing, insurance and safety requirements and be suitable for the confirmed group.

17.4. Where a suitable alternative cannot be provided, we will discuss the available options and any applicable refund or remedy.

Baggage

17.5. Luggage capacity is limited, particularly when travelling with a larger group.

17.6. Small day bags and personal belongings are generally welcome.

17.7. If you intend to travel with suitcases, bulky photography equipment or other large items, please contact us in advance.

17.8. All luggage must be stored safely and must not obstruct exits, seat belts or the driver's visibility.

17.9. We may decline to carry items that cannot be accommodated safely or lawfully.

Personal belongings

17.10. Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care of their belongings during the tour.

17.11. Please check the vehicle before leaving and keep passports, medication and essential valuables with you.

17.12. If you believe you have left an item behind, please contact us promptly.

17.13. We will make reasonable efforts to locate and return lost property. Reasonable postage or delivery charges may be agreed where applicable.

17.14. We are not responsible for losses occurring solely outside our control, but nothing in this section excludes liability where loss or damage results from our negligence or another legal responsibility.

18. Guest Conduct, Smoking & Alcohol

18.1. We expect all guests to behave respectfully towards their guide, other members of the group, local communities and the places visited.

18.2. Guests must comply with reasonable safety instructions.

18.3. Threatening, abusive, discriminatory or seriously unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.

18.4. Where behaviour creates a genuine safety risk, we may take proportionate action, including discontinuing the affected person's participation if necessary.

18.5. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the concern and provide an opportunity to resolve it.

18.6. Any resulting cancellation charge, refund or additional cost will be assessed fairly.

18.7. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside our vehicles.

18.8. Alcohol may be enjoyed at appropriate licensed venues, but passengers must remain capable of travelling safely and following reasonable instructions.

18.9. Drinking alcoholic beverages inside the vehicle is not permitted unless expressly agreed and lawful.

18.10. Guests may be responsible for reasonable, evidenced costs arising from damage or exceptional cleaning caused by their conduct.

19. Wildlife & Falconry Experiences

19.1. The Highlands are home to remarkable wildlife, and observing the natural environment may form part of your tour.

19.2. Wildlife encounters depend on location, season, weather and animal behaviour.

19.3. Sightings of particular species, including deer, birds of prey, seals or dolphins, cannot be guaranteed.

19.4. Guests must follow reasonable guidance concerning wildlife observation, habitat protection and safe access.

Falconry experiences

19.5. Through our sister business, Unbound Falconry, we may be able to arrange a hands-on bird of prey experience as part of a bespoke Highland tour.

19.6. Such activities must be arranged in advance and may involve additional charges.

19.7. Falconry experiences depend on availability, suitable conditions, animal welfare and operational requirements.

19.8. Guests must follow instructions from the supervising falconer.

19.9. Where an agreed falconry activity cannot operate for safety or animal welfare reasons, we will discuss suitable alternatives and any applicable refund.

19.10. Any additional experience-specific terms will be explained before booking.

20. Photography & Personal Information

20.1. Guests are welcome to take photographs and videos during their tour, provided doing so is safe and respects any restrictions at the locations visited.

20.2. We may occasionally take photographs of our experiences for business or promotional purposes.

20.3. We will seek appropriate permission or another valid lawful basis before using identifiable guest images for marketing.

20.4. We will not assume that participation in a tour automatically provides permission to use identifiable guest photographs in advertising.

20.5. Personal information collected during the booking process will be used for legitimate purposes connected with administering bookings, providing services, communicating with guests and meeting legal obligations.

20.6. Further information on how we collect, store, use and protect personal data is provided in our separate Privacy Policy.

20.7. Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection and electronic marketing requirements.

21. Travel Insurance

21.1. Travel insurance is not included in the tour price unless expressly stated.

21.2. We strongly recommend that all guests obtain suitable travel insurance covering their individual circumstances.

21.3. Depending on the policy, insurance may provide protection for:

  • Illness or unexpected inability to travel.

  • Travel delays and missed connections.

  • Missed flights or cruise departures.

  • Additional accommodation or transport expenses.

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings.

  • Medical emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances.

21.4. Cruise passengers should ensure their policy provides appropriate protection for independent shore excursions.

21.5. Guests are responsible for checking the terms, limits and exclusions of their own insurance cover.

21.6. Travel insurance does not replace any statutory rights or remedies available against Unbound Scotland.

22. Liability & Statutory Consumer Rights

22.1. Unbound Scotland will provide its services with reasonable care and skill, as required by applicable consumer law.

22.2. We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.

22.3. We are not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances beyond our reasonable control where we have fulfilled our legal and contractual obligations.

22.4. Where a guest suffers additional losses relating to other travel arrangements, the question of liability will depend on the circumstances, including foreseeability, causation, reasonable precautions and any steps taken to minimise loss.

22.5. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Breach of statutory duties where liability cannot legally be excluded.

  • Any other liability that cannot lawfully be restricted.

22.6. Nothing in these terms prevents a guest from exercising their rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.

22.7. Where the law entitles a guest to a price reduction, refund, damages or another remedy, these Terms & Conditions do not remove that entitlement.

23. Complaints & Feedback

23.1. We want every guest to enjoy their experience with Unbound Scotland.

23.2. If something is not as expected, please speak to your driver-guide as soon as reasonably possible so we have an opportunity to address the matter.

23.3. If a concern cannot be resolved during your tour, please contact us in writing afterwards.

23.4. We will acknowledge and investigate complaints fairly and aim to provide a response within 28 days.

23.5. More complex matters may occasionally require additional time, in which case we will keep you informed.

23.6. We welcome feedback and use it to improve our services.

23.7. Nothing in this complaints procedure limits any statutory right to pursue a complaint or legal remedy.

24. Changes to These Terms & Conditions

24.1. We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes to our services, operating arrangements or legal requirements.

24.2. The version applicable to your booking will normally be the version supplied or made available when the booking was confirmed.

24.3. We will not retrospectively impose material changes that remove your existing contractual or statutory rights.

24.4. Where changes to an existing booking are necessary, we will communicate the circumstances and discuss any available options.

24.5. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply insofar as they can lawfully operate independently.

25. Governing Law

25.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by Scottish law.

25.2. Any dispute will be considered in accordance with applicable legal procedures and jurisdictional rules.

25.3. Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer protections or legal rights available to customers residing elsewhere.
